Agridence and Ecocert SouthEast Asia partner to digitalize certification data across Southeast Asian supply chains

The partnership aims to facilitate digital data collection for organic, fair trade and CSR certification for commodities including rice, coconut, coffee and cashew, cutting manual entry and streamlining audits.

SINGAPORE and FRANCE, 18 August 2026 — Agridence, the agricultural supply-chain traceability and compliance platform, has partnered with Ecocert SouthEast Asia, a certification body for organic and sustainable products operating in the SouthEast Asia region, to digitalize the collection of certification and traceability data across supply chains in Southeast Asia. The partnership aims to shift organizations bogged down with manual data collection to digital field recording and dashboard oversight where producers can efficiently manage and provide audit data, as well as across multiple certification standards.

Certification and audit still depend heavily on manual data collection, which is tedious and prone to error. As buyers demand more verifiable sustainability data, producers need digital, auditable records they can stand behind. By digitally tracing traded volumes for Chain of Custody, the partnership reduces manual data entry and minimizes errors, which in turn streamlines verification and audit.

The two companies have identified strategic opportunities across Southeast Asia, with an initial focus on the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. The work will center on rice, coconut, coffee and cashew, aligned with Organic Agriculture standards and fair trade labels like Fair for Life.

For Agridence, digitalizing the upstream supply chain allows a single set of field data to be reused efficiently across multiple certification standards, including halal requirements. One digital record can then serve several certifications at once, lowering cost and effort for producers and the smallholders in their supply base.
