Agridence Appoints farmer connect Chairman Stefano Rettore to Lead Its Board, Cementing Post-Acquisition Integration

SINGAPORE 19th August 2025 – In a strategic move that solidifies its recent acquisition of farmer connect , Agridence GRP Holdings Pte. Ltd. (“Agridence”) today announced the appointment of Stefano Rettore, former Chairman of farmer connect, as the new Chairman of the Agridence Board. The appointment follows the planned retirement of incumbent Chairman Ian Potter, who successfully guided Agridence through a period of significant growth.

This leadership transition underscores a deep, strategic integration of the two companies, placing a proven agribusiness leader with intimate knowledge of both entities at the helm of the board. Stefano Rettore brings decades of experience steering global commodity and food-tech organizations, making him uniquely qualified to guide the combined company’s mission to deliver end-to-end traceability and compliance solutions.
