    The project

    Responsible natural rubber from tree to tire.

    Continental and GIZ are working with smallholder farmers in Indonesia to make natural rubber cultivation more sustainable, traceable, and resilient: on-the-ground training plus a digital traceability system connecting farm-level activity to tire production.

    Agridence’s role

    Agridence provides AgriTrace as the transactional traceability backbone, enabling value transfer from Continental to farmers and supporting EUDR readiness.

    AgriTrace links farmers, local traders, and processors so every delivery traces back to a specific farmer and plot.

    Partnership and scale

    Co-funding from Continental, the EU, BMZ, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports long-term investment in farmer training, digital infrastructure, and ecosystem protection.

    Agridence is extending the AgriTrace model to other sourcing regions and commodity chains.
